Subject: Hey, Finally Figured This Out
Hey Doc!
Found myself with some free time, so I scooted over to the Nexus and found out how to work that "e-mail" stuff you told me about. This internet thing looks completely awesome. I can't wait for Hill Valley to catch up.
I'm doing all right back home. I'm living in the back of the Darkness Falls bar -- the owner, Roger, gives me a room and meals in exchange for me helping out around the place. It's not a bad gig, I guess. Still really miss home, but -- I still have no idea what to do. I've asked some of the Changeling customers, and half of them never even knew their fetches. The others say that -- confronting them didn't work too well. And the last thing I want is anybody getting hurt. . . .
I guess I can't complain overall. I've got a roof over my head and food provided, which was more than I had when I first arrived. I just -- really miss my old life. And my guitar. I gotta see about getting some money, buying a new one. . . .
Anyway, how are things in Chicago? Still crazy?

Point. Here's to keeping that shit under control.
Yeah, Metody's cool. Though he comes from an awfully weird planet.
Okay, see you then.

Though what do I do with my old one?" He holds up the little basic PINpoint already strapped to his wrist. He doesn't really want to chuck it.

Doc examines Marty's basic model. "I think I might get one of those myself, for backup purposes. I've been meaning to acquire a spare for a while now."

He spends a quarter to get his miniPINpoint, then he and Marty are off to explore the internet in all it's wonderful and terrible glory.
